# SILO > Public read API for Brazilian public financial data — CVM fund disclosures (FI, FIDC, FII, FIP, FIAGRO), listed-company financials, ANBIMA class aggregates, B3 cash quotes, options and termo, and Brazilian inflation (BACEN's IPCA series and IBGE's item tree with weights). Schema `api` over Supabase PostgREST. Read-only; ingest is not exposed. Start with Conventions & limits: it is the single source of truth for auth tiers, the 1,000-row page, null semantics and regime breaks, and every other page links back to it rather than restating them. The machine-readable twin is `POST /rest/v1/rpc/catalog`. ## Start here - [SILO](https://octo-98895abd.mintlify.site/index.md): What the API serves, and the shortest path from nothing to an answer. - [Quickstart](https://octo-98895abd.mintlify.site/api-docs/quickstart.md): Get the publishable key, make your first request, and read the response — in under a minute. - [Conventions & limits](https://octo-98895abd.mintlify.site/api-docs/conventions.md): THE CONTRACT. Base URL, auth tiers and every ceiling, the 1,000-row cap and the p_after cursor protocol, null and not-applicable semantics, the FIDC 2025-01 regime break, freshness columns, and error behavior. Written here and nowhere else. - [Python SDK](https://octo-98895abd.mintlify.site/api-docs/sdk.md): silo-client — a thin, honest Python client over the read API: one method per endpoint, a capped response raises, views page, nothing is fabricated. - [For agents](https://octo-98895abd.mintlify.site/api-docs/agents.md): The operator guide for coding agents — what to read, how to get a token, the first live call, and how to screen a whole fund family. - [MCP server](https://octo-98895abd.mintlify.site/api-docs/mcp.md): Connect Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor to SILO over MCP: one read-only tool per API endpoint, no key, no signup, errors passed through verbatim. Live at https://zcjbtpxuhdekpwcxmepn.supabase.co/functions/v1/silo-mcp. - [Data inventory](https://octo-98895abd.mintlify.site/api-docs/data-inventory.md): What we ingest, what we don't, and what we hold but don't serve. - [Market coverage](https://octo-98895abd.mintlify.site/api-docs/market-coverage.md): What exists, how far back it goes, how often it updates — and the one dataset that is a ratchet. - [Known limitations](https://octo-98895abd.mintlify.site/api-docs/known-limitations.md): What the API does not do yet and what is planned — sector-specific charts of accounts, tickers that resolve to nothing, the duplicated ITR spans, unadjusted prices. ## Guides - [Your first screen](https://octo-98895abd.mintlify.site/api-docs/guides/first-screen.md): From a publishable key to a real chart of Brazilian market data, in four calls. - [Paging without losing rows](https://octo-98895abd.mintlify.site/api-docs/guides/pagination.md): Three different ways a response gets cut, and only one of them tells you. - [Reading a fundamental](https://octo-98895abd.mintlify.site/api-docs/guides/fundamentals.md): A listed company's financial statements end to end — and the two conventions that will silently corrupt your numbers. - [Pulling a research universe](https://octo-98895abd.mintlify.site/api-docs/guides/research.md): The universe, adjusted and total-return prices, the benchmark, fundamentals as they were known and macro: the calls, in order, and where each one can quietly mislead. - [Sheets and Excel](https://octo-98895abd.mintlify.site/api-docs/spreadsheets.md): CSV into Google Sheets (Apps Script) and Excel (Power Query). `IMPORTDATA` does not work: it cannot ask for CSV. Server behaviour measured live; snippets marked where not run. ## Market data - [Quotes](https://octo-98895abd.mintlify.site/api-docs/quotes.md): B3 cash-market quotes — the unadjusted api.quotes view plus quote_history (with adjusted and total-return closes) and quote_latest. - [Cash instruments](https://octo-98895abd.mintlify.site/api-docs/instruments.md): One endpoint per B3 cash instrument type — equities, BDRs, units, fund quotas and other cash paper, each with both lot sizes. - [Options](https://octo-98895abd.mintlify.site/api-docs/options.md): B3 equity options as published — one session's chain for a codneg prefix, or one series' daily history. - [Termo](https://octo-98895abd.mintlify.site/api-docs/termo.md): B3 forward (termo) contracts as published — one code's daily history, term included in the grain. - [Securities lending](https://octo-98895abd.mintlify.site/api-docs/lending.md): B3's securities-lending book — short interest and % of float, the sector aggregate, the trade tape and the brokerage on each leg. A ratchet: ~21 business days at the source, no archive. - [Investor flow](https://octo-98895abd.mintlify.site/api-docs/flows.md): Daily buy/sell/net flow by investor type, differenced from B3's month-to-date participation snapshots and published T+2. - [COTAHIST Dictionary](https://octo-98895abd.mintlify.site/api-docs/cotahist-dictionary.md): Every field of B3's COTAHIST register-01 record, the TPMERC and CODBDI code tables, and how Silo maps them — verified against the rb3 reference layout. ## Funds and credit - [Funds](https://octo-98895abd.mintlify.site/api-docs/funds.md): CVM fund registry and monthly fundamentals — the api.funds view plus search_funds, fund_profile, and fund_nav. - [Fund holdings](https://octo-98895abd.mintlify.site/api-docs/holdings.md): What a fund owns, and which funds own a ticker — the one edge joining the fund universe to the quote tape. - [FIDC concentration](https://octo-98895abd.mintlify.site/api-docs/fidc.md): Who a receivables fund buys from, who owes it, what sector the book is in and how BACEN grades it — informe tabs I, VIII, II and X, served as filed. - [FIDC tranches and aging](https://octo-98895abd.mintlify.site/api-docs/fidc-structure.md): Inside a receivables fund's capital structure and credit book — each tranche's quotas, return and promised vs realised performance with its subscriptions and redemptions, and the aging ladder of what is owed. Informe tabs X and VI, as filed, from 2025. - [Fund documents and restatements](https://octo-98895abd.mintlify.site/api-docs/fnet-documents.md): B3 Fundos.NET's document register — every document filed for a fund, each version with its own id, the restatements (RE voluntary, RC CVM-required) paired with the version they replaced, and, for FIDC monthly informes, the fields each restatement changed. Metadata and diffs with a source link, as published. - [Filing-behaviour screens](https://octo-98895abd.mintlify.site/api-docs/filing-screens.md): How funds file, not what they hold — unusual FNET restatements, monthly informes delivered past the deadline Resolução CVM 175 states (cited on every row), and registered funds that stopped filing. Signals, not verdicts. - [Company events](https://octo-98895abd.mintlify.site/api-docs/company-events.md): A listed company's IPE filings to CVM — fatos relevantes, comunicados, assembly material — as filed, one row per protocol, each with its link on CVM's RAD. From 2015. - [Macro series and PTAX](https://octo-98895abd.mintlify.site/api-docs/macro.md): BACEN's Selic target and daily rate, CDI, IGP-M, INPC, old-rule poupança, the SGS dollar and euro, monthly GDP and PTAX buy/sell per currency — as published, unit on every row. - [DI futures and B3 reference curves](https://octo-98895abd.mintlify.site/api-docs/rates.md): Every DI1 futures contract per session from 2018, and B3's reference curves (DI x pré, onshore dollar coupon, IPCA coupon) per vertex from 2008, as B3 publishes them; the long end of each curve is B3's extrapolation. - [Forensic screens](https://octo-98895abd.mintlify.site/api-docs/screens.md): Seven public-filing screens — FIDC zombie growth, evergreen aging and delinquency drivers, captive FIIs, overdue CRI/CRA, dormant funds. Signals, not verdicts: every row carries the screen and the params it crossed. - [ANBIMA classes](https://octo-98895abd.mintlify.site/api-docs/anbima.md): The industry's own benchmark series — AUM, net flows, returns and fund counts per ANBIMA class, as the Boletim de Fundos publishes them. ## Macro - [Inflation](https://octo-98895abd.mintlify.site/api-docs/inflation.md): IPCA as BACEN and IBGE publish it — headline, IPCA-15, the BCB cores, monitored and free prices, the nine expenditure groups, and IBGE's whole item tree with the weights that say what moved the index. ## Companies - [Company financials](https://octo-98895abd.mintlify.site/api-docs/financials.md): Filed income statements, balance sheets and cash flows for Brazilian listed companies — resolved by ticker, CNPJ or CVM code. ## Cross-cutting endpoints - [Panel](https://octo-98895abd.mintlify.site/api-docs/panel.md): The researcher endpoint — long (id, date, metric, value) observations mixing B3 tickers and CVM fund CNPJs in one call. The API's one primitive. - [Lookup](https://octo-98895abd.mintlify.site/api-docs/lookup.md): Resolve a ticker, ISIN, CNPJ, fund name, or company name to the identifiers this API accepts. - [Coverage](https://octo-98895abd.mintlify.site/api-docs/coverage.md): Latest loaded date per dataset — check it before you claim anything is current. ## For machines - [skill.md](https://octo-98895abd.mintlify.site/skill.md): The agent loader — credentials, the first call, and the shape of an answer. Points at the contract rather than restating it. - [Docs MCP](https://octo-98895abd.mintlify.site/mcp): Search and read these pages over MCP. No login. - [catalog()](https://zcjbtpxuhdekpwcxmepn.supabase.co/rest/v1/rpc/catalog): `POST` with `{}` and an `apikey` header. The contract as JSON — `limits`, `metrics`, `applicability`, `regime_breaks`, `constraints`, and a `version` saying what the server is actually serving. - [Data API](https://zcjbtpxuhdekpwcxmepn.supabase.co/rest/v1/): The live base URL. Views are `GET /`; functions are `POST /rpc/`. ## OpenAPI Spec - [openapi.json](https://octo-98895abd.mintlify.site/openapi.json): OpenAPI 3.1 covering every granted view and function, generated from the live Postgres catalog by `scripts/gen_openapi.py` and guarded against drift in both directions by `tests/test_openapi_spec.py`. Nothing in it is hand-maintained. ## Optional - [Notebooks](https://github.com/PedroDnT/SILO-BZ/tree/main/notebooks): Eleven runnable notebooks, `00_start_here` through `10_dustin_br_model` — each one a real question answered end to end. - [Sign in](https://silo-bz-deloslabs.vercel.app/signin.html): GitHub OAuth. Returns a user token that raises the tier ceilings for about an hour. - [Dashboard](https://silo-bz-deloslabs.vercel.app/): The Evidence.dev site — fund health plus B3 market, short-interest, investor-flow and macro pages. A nightly static snapshot, not the API. - [Repository](https://github.com/PedroDnT/SILO-BZ): The ingestion pipeline that writes the warehouse these pages read.
